How gear is obtained
- City markets: the best weapons (Armor, Phoenix-beak Blade, Sky Piercer, Great Sword…) are sold in Jizhou, Chang’an, Luoyang, Jiangxia, Hanzhong and Chengdu.
- Field huts: purchasable in huts on the battle screen.
- Duel victories: obtained by defeating certain rulers in duels.

Armor picks: Saint’s Robe for Zhao Yun (sold outside Yongjing; the only one of the eight with Virtue over 90); Dragon-scale Mail for Jiang Wei (100% from dueling Liu Bei — Valor 92 / Wits 94, the only martial officer who can cast the fire bomb, paired with the Double-hook Spear).
